Jellybeans for Dinner

Remember being little and having breakfast for dinner? Didn’t you get all excited because you thought it was a treat? Little did you know, Mama didn’t have much money so pancakes and eggs was all she could throw together.

But still, it was nice to have a change.

And I’ve noticed two bloggers who are doing something VERY different. So different and intriguing that it has me checking them FIRST before I read anyone else.

Yanni’s Block
Have you noticed Yanni’s Block which was created by Yolanda of JustWritingLife? She flipped it on us. What started as a kind of fun, silly thing to do has turned into a really HOT blog soap opera. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but besides all of the fictional blogs out there, this is the FIRST blog soap opera on the net. Yolanda and her team are doing a phenomenal job of using their creative talents and turning it into something we can’t get enough of. Check out Mason, Eric, Yanni and Starlet as they create and combat all kinds of drama.

The Heiress Diaries
If you haven’t checked out Ms. Holiday N, you’re missing out. The Heiress Diaries won the 2005 Black Blogger Award for Best New Blog and she definately deserved it. We all wish we were rich princesses, and here’s one sharing her world with all of us. From Savvy Sunday Tips on how to become financially savvy to wild celebrity encounters and sexual escapades, Ms. Holiday N. has us all wondering, “Is she for real?” I believe she is, and even if she isn’t I don’t care. I’ll be tuning in everyday to read about what’s going on with this green eyed DIVA.
