NEW TIRES!
I love being a girl!
So I went to work on Wednesday night and worked an extra shift. The money I made that night allowed me to be able to buy 2 new (to me) tires! I went to this place my sister suggested and I had to read the men there in order to devise my strategy. Every woman knows that when they try to take care of mechanical work with their car, the men will try to take advantage of you if you go alone.
So I walked in and when I saw the men’s eyes light up when they looked at me, I payed careful attention to their spirit. I told them what I needed and since my tires are 17″ I knew that they should cost about $40 a piece.
“Are you married?” the manager asked me.
“No,” I answered with a flirty smile. Then I kicked into little innocent girl mode. “And all I have is $65. I work at Denny’s and this is what I made the other night. Could you do it for me please?”
I pulled out the wad of single and $5 bills. He counted them and as he glanced at me over his glasses, I knew I had him.
“Go tell him to get started,” he said.
When he was done I was cheesing so hard and I thanked the guy profusely. He even washed my car for me! YAY!
